Nashville Dessert & Coffee
Bongo Java
2007 Belmont Blvd
Nashville, TN 37212
Ph. 615-385-5282
Bongo Java is Nashville's oldest and most celebrated coffeehouse. The cafe opened Sunday, March 28, 1993 at 4pm and became world famous in December 1996 for the discovery of a cinnamon bun that many believe looks remarkably like Mother Teresa.

The NunBun was featured by media outlets around the world including The Tennessean, Washington Post, CNN, BBC, Paul Harvey, David Letterman and (so we've been told) a Calcutta newspaper.

The cafe itself was featured in 2004 on The Food Network's $40 a Day show with Rachel Ray.

York breakfast and a cappuccino or dine all day or all night on a varied menu including personal pizzas, inspiring pastas, juicy burgers and leafy green salads then choose from the largest dessert selection in
Nashville. Desserts like tiramisu, double chocolate cakes, and cheesecakes. The coffee and beer options will keep you buzzing till late. Open 24 hours a day.

Sam & Zoes
525 Heather Pl
Nashville, TN 37204
Ph. 615-385-2676
This cozy cafe and coffeehouse, located near the Oaks Mall, serves excellent breakfast and lunch items, from bagels and pastries to soups and sandwiches. Of course, the desserts and coffee blends are what draw in the evening crowds, who use the relative quiet of the place to reflect on their day or discuss current events.
