Opry
Mills is a shopping mall owned by the Mills Corporation. It was constructed
in Nashville, Tennessee in 2000 on the former site of the Opryland USA
theme park, outside the home of the Grand Ole Opry. It is adjacent to
the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
It contains several major stores including Bass
Pro Shops, Blacklion, Bed Bath and Beyond, Gibson Bluegrass Showcase,
Off 5th, Tower Records and Barnes & Noble.
There is also a large food court that contains
Chili's, T.G.I. Friday's, and Sbarro. A Johnny Rockets restaurant is located
outside the court.
The General Jackson and Music City Queen showboats,
which operate on the Cumberland River, are based at Opry Mills.
Other attractions include NASCAR Silicon Motor
Speedway and the Regal Opry Mills 20 and IMAX movie theater.
There have also been reported gang related issues.*

The Staff at GiveMeNashville has been to the Opry Mills malll over the
past few years, and has not noticed any occurances of gang activity. As
with most malls, it's wise to always use common sense and be aware of
your surroundings.
