Business/Convention Travellers

If you're coming to a convention, then it will either be at the Nashville Convention Center or the Opryland Hotel. There's also a Marriott Convention Center near the airport. You probably want to go somewhere to grab a beer or a drink with your buddies. Let's start out at Broadway Brew House. If it's Thursday night....giddyup! It's ladies night. If not, it's still active on the weekends as well. They even have a great informal dining area calle Mojo's Grill attached. The Etoufee is awesome! There are some video games, darts, and a shufflepuck table. You know the long wooden table with the heavy metal pucks that slide over sand. It's a crowded, semi-open bar with a great selection of brews. There's no liquor though.
There are a number of good choices for dinner. If you're trying to impress, Mid-Town Cafe is nearby. If you're on an expense account, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is up West End about 3 blocks on the right. All are very close to Broadway Brew House.

After dinner, head down to Second Avenue. I'd recommend Buffalo Billiards, for pool, darts and scenery. If you'd like a more swank environment and a cigar, run upstairs to Havana Lounge. There are plush couches and a very cool circular bar surrounding a walk-in humidor. I'd advise against dinner here. It's not worth the price. Maybe some appetizers though.
